Note: I have no experience with the categories of poetry, so please beat me if this is in the wrong one, it might knock some sense into me. T.T *gives you a bat*

Hrm, remember my first poem? Reality, from a while back?
Quite the depressing poem, ne? One I wrote when I lost all confidence and hope in life and myself. (Yes, it's very rare peoplez, but Powder CAN experience depression! O.o; )
Also the first poem I ever wrote. Which is disappointing to me, being that it's so negative and pessimistic, and that I'm one who prefers happiness and laughter.... /..\

I may have said then that you probably wouldn't see another poem, since poetry (or any sort of writing, for that matter) is definitely NOT one of my strong points. o_o;; If anything, I'd prefer to show feelings and emotions in my artwork, in actual pictures. ^-^

But lo and behold, Powder throws out another mediocre poem! D:

Actually, I was sort of forced to write this. x3 A few months back, my English class was studying the popular Christmas story, A Christmas Carol. (I trust you're all familiar with Mr. Ebeneezer Scrooge and whatnot? xP) We had a bunch of assignments to go along with the story, where we had to pick the 5 assignments we preferred to do. Along with a few others, I chose to write a poem, since it was an easy assignment.

Soooo if you know the story, you should know what the whole poem is about. =3 I sort of like it myself, and my English teacher seemed to like it (to quote a comment on my paper: "good choice of words" ), so I decided to put it up for whatever reason. ^-^

My second attempt at a poem, and since I don't really plan to write any others, nor do I know anything about poetry itself, I'd prefer if you didn't throw critics at me like it was gym class all over again. o.o

..Shoulda put this up around Christmas time, ne....? /..\ Oh well. X3
